Pooka

This Sunday has been fabulously uneventful. PJs and a Scooby-Doo marathon. Baked goods, quilting, and huge floury messes. Pillow forts and snuggles.  The freedom to not be productive.  I know, sounds kinda funny.  But, for someone like me, it's delicious.  A splurge of time.

Tomorrow I'll tackle the laundry.

My good friend Erika came to visit the other weekend.  I can't believe all that we were able to see and do while she was here--it was so much fun.  The kiddos fell in love with her--their very own Pooka!  Madeleine wanted to hold her hand.  Always.  And William snuggled up and read books without pictures with her.  The day before Pooka left, the two of us hiked the Cliff Walk, going further than I even understood we could.  It was a proper adventure!  I loved every moment, feeling amazed that it good be so beautiful.
