Still Life No. 3

Still Life No. 3

My growing list of March creative projects written in peacock blue ink.  I found the bottle of ink stashed away in my bookshelf--what it was doing there, I have no idea.  My fingers were blue all day after trying to pry the lid off.  The little notebook is part of my Correspondence Project.  White Chrysanthemums, brightening even the gloomiest of days.  And my new favorite pen--slim, feminine, with lots of bold colors!

March.  When I start to long for spring in a painful way.  Especially as I look at snow coming down.  And I realize I have to trek out in the snow to deliver the packages to the post box down the road.  Grim.  This is grim.  I want to believe that spring is round the corner.  That the daffodils, desperately wanting to bloom, will have a chance at a full life.  In the mean time, I'm going to brew a pot of Earl Grey and think happy, warm, Springy, thoughts.  You, too, okay?  Maybe it'll help!

Fresh and bright! Even though the snow is falling - you have a warm and cozy spot to be creative. Today is the last day of winter - tomorrow the first day of Spring . . . think Mother Nature will check her calendar?
