What I'm Loving

Baby girl, you are such a joy.  A marvel.  Happy 7 months (tomorrow)!

I want to start a new series for the new year, because, well, that's what we do at the start of a new year, but, also because I'm feeling very full right now.  Full of joy.  Full of gratitude.  Full of love.  Yup.  I'm a big ball of ooey-gooey-luv!

So, the new series is What I'm Loving

+ I love the way William loves on his sister, from his kisses goodnight (sloppy) and his speed at retrieving her toys (quick), it's a wonder.  And I keep thinking, maybe, just maybe, he will be that older brother I always wanted!

+ I love these winter days.  I love the chill, I love the cold, I love the briskness of it all.  Trust me, in these parts, I get a lot of weird looks when I go out in just a sweeter.  But, that's how I roll.

+ I love changing-up my inspiration boards.  I love collecting new postcards, new mini-prints, new tags, that make my creative heart sing.  If you ever wanted a Pen Pal, I'm your girl!

+ I love Zoloft.  Ha.  I really didn't think I would write that.  *gasp* But, this is the first winter I've actually enjoyed in almost a decade.  Yes, I suffer from SAD, but it's more than that.  My depression would have me skimming the bottom more times than I care to remember.  I needed a boost this fall.  I needed something to level me out, just a little, so I could enjoy the little bits of life.  Maybe that's a sad thing to write.  Maybe.

+ I love surrounding myself with lush, leafy, green things.  Especially in the winter.  Spiky plants, big-leaf-weepy things, and forced paper whites.  I'm still rather amazed half of them are alive.

+ I love swapping recipes.  Especially with cute, foodie, barristas.  Butternut squash soup, tomato cobbler, galettes, and our hatred of celery!

What I'm loving!

XOXO,
Jewels

That's so crazy that you mentioned that in this post - I was just thinking earlier this week that I missed the beautiful cards that you used to send. Let's get back in the swing of things again? FB me your current address. I need someone who appreciates pretty paper as much as I do. :)
