Happy Holidays

I'm sitting at my computer, watching heavy flakes fall gently outside my window, and marveling at the quiet.  Snow makes everything quiet.  I love that.  I love that I'm still humming Christmas carols when I take the babes out for their morning walk.  I love that there's a desire for snuggling, hot tea, writing in my journal about the newness ahead.  I love that there's a stillness here, deep inside of me, like this soft, quiet, snowfall outside my window.  These moments are rare, thus I treasure them all the more.
