Managing

I can't really explain it, but every day this week has felt like a Friday.  Which, you would think, is spectacular.  Happy day!  Until you realize it's really Thursday and there's still a day and a half till the weekend.  Not so happy.  But, we're managing.  We hiked through the neighborhood this morning, soaking up all the glamorous holiday decorations and exploring every corner of Pastorious Park.  I still have wrapping to do, a few more stocking stuffers to buy, and one last batch of cookies to bake.  This weekend will be full of festivities with friends and family.  And, I plan on taking some quiet moments for myself.  I believe in trying to claim my bits of sanity where I can!
