NYC

I'll let the pictures speak for themselves! They're in chronological order by the way.

I had such an incredible time on my first adventure to New York City. Cindy kept laughing at me--every time we turned a corner I would gasp and say something like, "Oh my goodness, oh my goodness!" I'm sure she thought I was going to pee my pants. *sighs* Tourists! It was startling to see all of these things in person--all of these places I've only ever seen in movies or photographs. Of course, the whole experience was amplified by Cindy--sweet and ever dear, Cindy. She really made the trip for me. I can't tell you how amazing it is to finally meet a long distance friend for the first time--goosebumps! I nearly cried when we found each other at Penn Station! So many blog posts, emails, letters--and there she was in front of me. It was such a special day!

By the way, the boys did fabulously well at home while mama was off traveling. William wasn't too much of a crab and Andrew conquered the naps and applesauce. But, I think I was missed.

it was so great to meet you in person and for the record you found me in penn station - i was kind of lost, ha! i loved getting caught up in your enthusasism and sure i was the same way on my first visit.

i LOVE your photos ... they look great and you would think there was not a single soul in rockefeller center vs. the throngs of visitors, whoa!

it was really great to meet you and give you a real hug vs. those virtual ones. you are such a sweetheart and i'm sure you were missed by your boys. i miss you. xo, c

Looks like a great time and good food!

Your visit made me smile and think of my visit with Patricia from PVE a couple of years ago while in Chicago. The arrangement was, I was going to take her to the airport. I was headed towards O'Hare when she said mentioned in passing she was going to Midway. After my head spinned a few times I was like whaaaat?! LOL... I turned the car around only to be bumper to bumper, having no clue where Midway airport was. All I could think was how much I was going to have to pay for an airline ticket if she missed her flight!
I noticed a cab next to us, I rolled down the window asking if he could take her to the airport. We pulled over to the emergency lane, had Patricia jump out from my car to cab tossing luggage at the driver and off they went. We still laugh about it!
I am happy you girls were finally able to meet. xo

LOVE LOVE these pictures! You have captured the city SO well. I love seeing the city through different people's eyes. I am so excited for you that you had such a lovely trip!! This is the best time of year to see NYC!

And THANK YOU so much for your loving birthday comment! Your words mean so much and I am taking them to heart as I start this next year.

I think my birthday has brought me some luck b/c I just found a lovely place to live in DC and am moving there in January! I can't wait to make DC my new home! DC isn't that far from Philly so maybe at some point we can finally meet in person and chat over lattes!

Thank you again for your support, dear friend! xoxo
