Chilling out

William seems to be my stress-barometer. He starts acting up if things get intense over here (jobs, moving, the great unknown). But, if I can chill out, he in turn chills out and I don't have to relegate myself to the couch for hours on end. Things that helped me "chill" this weekend were: Mom and dad came to town--their hugs help, so much. I was able to go swimming in a pool--floating is the most delicious thing when you have 40 lbs strapped to the front of you. I found a beautiful tin full of melt-in-your-mouth ginger snaps at the World Market. Our air conditioner is already cranked and its cool in the apartment. And I have a supply of limeade in the fridge.
