Interview and curiosity

First off, I was notified this morning that my interview and give-away is over at the Sofia Barao's! Do go and see!

Two summers ago I stumbled into the world of blogging. Well, it was sort of a slow "easing into," but I found a small handful of blogs that I thought were not only beautiful but sincere and I've gone back to them time and time again. For not only inspiration creatively and for genuine living. "Genuine living" sounds a bit pretentious, but I hope you know what I'm talking about. I'm drawn to their photographs (which they usually take themselves), their simple but creative living, and their attachment to their families, no matter the size. I'm just curious, which blogs have continued to inspire you, time and time again?

Here are mine:

Soule Mama
Posie Gets Cozy
Lovely Design

I kind of jumped in, going from not really blogging at all and not even even commenting on any, to loving it all quite quickly. I have a long list (including yours :-) I haven't been to your 3, so I'm looking forward to visiting them.

I have only been blogging for a year but my list of favourites is long - yours is one of them. Love the quiet posts. I will just mention two that I am always drawn to - Cafe Cartolina and Ornamental.

Genuine living indeed. I believe it is the true essence of living. Being true to yourself, your dreams, your inner voice...

You were my first blog I stumbled upon a little over a year ago and are still one of my favs.

What a cool interview!! About which blogs inspire me... at the moment, it's those that feature really great photograping - like yours! Even though I write a blog about interior decoration, the photos I find the most inspiring are "about" other things.

Ooohh, I cannot WAIT to check these out. I love what you wrote in this post--so true. The main reason the blogworld is fascinating to me. I love seeing what inspires others and being inspired! :-)

i eased in slowly.
silently stalking blogs, reading and then finally one day I started commenting then jumped in with both feet and started blogging.
I still read the first few that I silently stalked because they inspire me and are real:

little house on green (now A little twig bird house)
The Red Otter (yours was the first)
Whatever
LaLa Lovely
French Essence
Here, There, Elsewhere and more

I read them daily!

xx callie

I never heard of a blog until my friend told me to start one during my recovery (health issues)a year and half ago. I slowly started to leave comments. There are so... many that I enjoy reading and visiting every day that there would not be enough room for them all. One for sure is The Red Otter Shop!

Have a golden weekend! xoxo

yours, my dear! i've gotta say that you were one of my biggest touchpoints for getting started with etsy and then with a blog. whether or not i comment daily, you're a daily read of mine and continually inspire me.

others include kal barteski's love life, elise blaha's enjoy it, and marta's m.writes. :)

hmmmmm...good question :) I have too many, but I know exactly what you mean. While my blogging has decreased to once a week, I amazed at how much I depend on the blog world for inspirations, q&a's, and the confidence to create.
