Few Things

So, I learned a few things yesterday:

1. I can walk exactly one mile in my black boots before I develop blisters in four different parts of my feet (discovered while walking three miles last night).
2. Drinking coffee two hours before going to bed does not exempt me from the caffeine kick six hours later (discovered while sitting up in bed, wide awake, massaging lavender foot lotion on my sore feet at 3 in the morning).
3. I make funny squeaky noises in the morning after getting little sleep the night before, like a squeegee on a window. And no, coffee doesn't help.

By the way, check out that huge copper bath tub in the pictures above! Oh how I would love to fill it with steaming hot water and bubble bath and lounge in there all morning.

Images from Paul Costello.

That tub is pretty amazing! Love the image of the woman walking in that fabulous front door with fresh flowers in hand.

Put some Neosporin on your blisters! ☺

You find such amazing images! I love the image of the woman in the last pic...I want to BE that woman with those flowers and that door...haha.

So sorry to hear about your feet! I totally understand...most shoes do that to me for some unknown reason. I'm convinced that my feet are dysfunctional...

I love these photos, and want that bath! I would have to move house to fit it in though!

Why did you have to walk that far? Yah, coffee is 'timeless' - it doesn't care what time it is, it'll just be itself. =)

How are you able to get these quality and interesting images? Is there a conscious effort to look around for them or you just happen to know some really good sites?

Some of my very favourite images -- especially the yellow curtains and red skirt. And the trophies, of course, as I had such a difficult time finding vintage ones at the antiques markets this weekend. So sorry to hear about your sore feet and lack of sleep. Hope you're feeling better now, and sending lots of good thoughts for a lovely rest of the week :)
