British gents

John Hurt. Bill Nighy. Sir Ian McKellen. And fabulously elegant and decked out British gents (just because). Need I say more? *sighs* I could swoon, Phil Poynter does an excellent job. I'm a big fan of British movies and British actors. It's the accent, and the history. And the fact that they can pull off the tweeds and straight pants (trousers) like non other. I studied abroad in Birmingham, England, five or six years ago (for a whole 9 months) and loved almost every minute. There is something about three months of rain that I couldn't quite absorb. But, I fully immersed myself in the tea, the "brellies," the history, and the culture. Andrew and I will put a British flick on and I'll immediately look at him with puppy eyes and ask "when can we go back?"

Also, I had to mention on a side note that for the first time in months, one of my Red Otter journals made it to the front page of the Etsy site! I was tickled pink--it's such a beautiful treasury!

The Brits are the best. No question about it. I just today, in fact, got a notice from Amazon.com that my order of Absolutely Everything is en route. What's that, you ask? Why, every last gut-busting episode of one of the best British TV shows, like ever: Absolutely Fabulous. Just like the name says.

congratulations on your etsy front page! i'm an anglophile, so i love your british gents and envy your time spent living in england. i'd also add daniel craig as james bond, he's so macho. i can't wait for the next movie this november.

scottish accents are my favorite though - so lyrical. i think if someone yelled at me with that accent i would just giggle ;).

What a nice treasury. And don't the world just love British men? They are so appealing and classy looking no matter what age they are.

Ah, I'm a sucker for a Britsh Accent too! I can watch any British movie and just get sucked in whether it's a good one or not.
I've only visited England a few times with family and then again in High School (which was YEARS ago) I long to go back though - it's just convincing my hubby to brave the flight with our four year old son! SOOO...it's probably NOT going to happening any time soon :(
