Relaxation

Either I'm suffering from a lack of creative coherency or I'm trying too hard--either way this post is taking forever for me to write. It's not like I don't know what I want to say. I do. Put it simply: relaxation is hard to do. You wouldn't think so. But, for a person who is driven by efficiency and productivity, it is. Very. I'm learning to take 15 minutes during my day to sit peacefully with a cup of tea. I'm relearning how to take belly breaths. I'm trying my hand at incorporating quiet moments into my life again. Who knew that this part of my life would take work?

I totally agree about full relaxation. Even when I think about relaxing, I always have to be "doing" something instead of just "being." Your pictures are lovely, my dear! Hope you and your lads had a glorious weekend! xoxo

So well put Julia! I have to force myself daily to sit for a few moments and give gratitude and do a little me stuff--sometimes I don't get to it until the last few minutes of the day--you wouldn't think it would be so hard! Hope you're off to a happy new week!

I agree relaxing is hard to do, when your mind races of all the things to do. Your photos though just put me in the mood to relax, beautiful! xo

My way of relaxation is gardening and planting flowers or vegetables in my backyards. I love those photos, very stunning..
