Trekking

After the thunderstorm last evening the temperatures here in Philly are 'bout normal for a late July day--you know, somewhere in the high 80's--not the low 100's it's been for the past three weeks. For the record that last heat wave was Philly's 6th. SIXTH. Anyways, I seized the moment and wrapped William up in the Moby and went for a hike. The sidewalks in this neighborhood, although charming, are made of huge slabs of slate, which makes the trekking a little precarious. But, oh the delight in getting out and about. Does the heart good!

It has been in the upper 90's, low 100's for the last two weeks here. I can't wait for a cool down..

It wouldn't be very comfortable to wear the moby when it's 100+. Yikes! I can imagine how nice it was to get out. :)

It's been horribly hot here, too. And I know what you mean about the trekking - clears out your head and it's good for the soul. I think that's why I've struggled some this summer - too hot to walk.

Sending much love your way. Baby William is beautiful. And so are you.
