Good morning! Just wanted to give you a quick update: we're hanging out with Grandpa and Grandma right now, getting stronger, bigger and more confident before we make our final trip out east to reunite with Daddy next week. I don't think I could have ever been prepared for the great unknowing that first-time motherhood has brought. I'm in awe of this little boy--he's such a sweetheart. As I grow more confident, more sure of myself, he does too.

so sweet. it is true that this time is fledging. mine are 18 and 14 and I still remember the lap hold and the mystery of the first few weeks.
