Four in the morning
The clock in the corner of my screen tells me that it's nearly 4 in the morning. I should be in bed, cuddled up with my maternity pillow and having weird pregnancy dreams. But, I'm not. After an hour of tossing and turning, which, by the way, happens in slow motion and looks more like a beached whale doing barrel rolls, I decided to get up. Part of this is normal pregnancy--the sleeplessness--but the other part is fidgety creativity. It's been months since I was able to sink my teeth into a project. And now that life seems mostly even keel, god bless Zantac, I feel like I finally have the energy to take something on. Of course, with months of letting my creativity simmer under the surface and reading new, beautiful blogs, I'm confronted with not just one, but at least four or five new, fun, exciting, thrilling, keep-me-up-at-night projects--none of them brilliant, mind you--but the desire to start something is there. And it's fierce! Here's what I've been following lately:

Brilliant I am sure....you are too modest. You know, an early morning merits a nice afternoon nap.
I do some of my best brain storming in the wee hours of the morning. I must check out these other two blogs...you know how I feel about Attic 24! Off for another lesson today~ wish me luck!
oh I remember those sleeplessness nights... glad your creativity is blooming strong! xo

here's to igniting your creative spark even if it entails waking in the wee hours of the morning once in a while. that's what naps are for. looking forward to your new projects. xo, c

Isn't it amazing at what time the creativity bug hits? I was awake until 2am the other night with exciting creative thoughts.
Gorgeous dress. And stunning floorboards.
I hope you feel sleepy soon xx
I have had those late nights and I have no reason! Thank you for sharing the blogs. xo
I feel your pain - four in the morning has been seen by me much more frequently than I like lately. And the beached whale concept has crossed my mind quite a bit as well...
Oh, so glad you got up, then..! And I am so glad that you are feeling better, your energy is back, and you are feeling the giddiness and business of creativity..! Can't wait to see what you come up with, dear.
Have a wonderful weekend, Jewels!
