Soul time

Recovery from our epic holiday traveling (nearly two weeks) took a bit longer than originally anticipated--sorry for the long absence! We returned on the 4th, weary to the bone. I think it took us a week to unpack our last box, bag and duffel.

In the past, New Years were monumental introspective times for me--times to reflect, reorganize and re-inspire. Alas, I spent most of the holiday week warding off a migraine, but, better late than never. This morning I'm gathering up my journal, my favorite blue pen and heading to my coffee shop for some soul time.

Happy soul time, Jewels! I received my beautiful British Birds journal in the mail and have been using it to jot down my daily thoughts - so wonderful! Thanks for all the little treats and your kind note! I am so thankful to have found such a good friend and kindred spirit!

I've had a slow start to the New Year myself. I feel like I'm still catching up after a crazy, hectic December. I better hurry up, I have lots to accomplish this year. Hope you're feeling better and that you're able to take the time you need to regroup. Happy New Year!
