A boost

I don't want to simply survive the winter months. I want to see if I can find little beauties, simple pleasures, that are unique to the season. Take the winter light, for instance. The brightness of it is arresting. Combine the light with a fresh clutch of flowers and it's a little boost for the day or week!

winter light is especially beautiful and yes enjoying and surviving are two very different things.

Very pretty! I know what you mean. When the skies are grey and snow is brown and its cold out life can be so dreary!! I'm trying to keep a smile on my face and look for beauty too.

ps. your sis is coming over tonight for book club!
