Humidity

I don't know what it's like there, but the humidity here has my books pealing. It just takes the starch out of everything (picture me a limp piece of lettuce with frizzy hair).

The weekend was wonderful, full of cooking experiments (red curry and macaroons), long walks, a wicked game of Scrabble and a few trips to the coffee shop for some proper air conditioning!

The humidity has been killer here as well, but luckily there's nothing better than iced coffee in an air-conditioned coffee shop, right?

This weather is my hair's enemy~FRIZZ! Thankfully we have a.c. and I do use it when it's this bad. Your curry sounds delicious...and macaroons~those are my favorites! Any left-overs???

I miss the humidity so much since moving up here. When we finally have humid days, I relish in the heat knowing that soon, it will vanish and snow will take its place. Enjoy those macaroons...they sound delicious!

Your weekends always sound so wonderful, despite the humidity! In the summertime, I just give up on my hair looking like anything other than a big frizzy mess! Though it's the steamy part of summer now, I am trying to soak it all up before we are soon lost in the chilly throes of winter!

Ugh! I am wearing a hat and no makeup to work today. We have it here too. swampy air is not fun!

I got your email sweet thing. I have a postcard all ready and will shoot you back a letter soon- sorry for being so slow on the return :) trust me - I'm thinking of you.

Ah yes, you gotta love air conditioned shops! Possibly the only time I willingly visit a mall or mega movie complex is in the summer, and it's strictly for the air conditioning :)

It's so humid down here in the South, we have (to have) central air conditioning in our homes. So I feel your pain, because I wouldn't be able to make it without it...
My weekend brought me a bunch of house projects, which always make me feel good!

I can't stand humidity at all. I definitely frizz out and look like a lion.
