Yummy desserts

My clinical has started at the assisted living center here in town. I have roughly a week and a half of the early morning shift (6:30-12:30) before my final and all my summer course work will be complete. It's so exciting to be able to start using the skills we've been trained in over the summer. Of course it's a little scary too. There's nothing more terrifying than having to figure out how to transfer an person who is weak, tired, and almost incapable of helping you from the bed to the wheel chair. In any case, I'll probably be a little quiet over here! Enjoy the yummy desserts, though!

XOXO,
Jewels

How exciting for you! It seems to be moving right along at quite a swift pace (at least on this end).

Those little breads are so darn cute.

Sugar overload in the morning! These are sweet in both senses of the word.
Btw, I finally got an idea that I think is the right one for the self portrait!
Good luck with the clinical Julia!

All of the desserts look wonderful!

Best of luck on your clinical work this week. I know how much it meant to me, to have wonderful and caring nurses to help me move and all the not so plesant things when I couldn't do it myself. Being in the hosital for 30 days a couple of years ago I did have my favorites and think of them often.

If you don't mind, please share your experience.

xoxo

Ooooh...home stretch! Yay! I get to work at 6am. I've been doing it for a while so I'm sort of used to it, but man, it's brutal if you're not. Good luck! Sending good thoughts.
