Sweet and sparkly

Because life is full, sweet, and sparkly--you just have to know where to look. I'm finding Sundays to be one of the hardest days of the week. Not because I'm dreading the start of the school/work week, but rather, it's the day I have to say good bye to Andrew after a weekend together. And that's tough. Each Sunday has its little good bye. And so, I look, avidly, for the sweet and sparkly of my Monday morning. Chai tea, the coolness of this summers morning, the thrill of posting new books in my shop, and these delicious photos, for you!

What's the sweet and sparkly in your world this morning?

You just added some sparkly to my morning with those pretty photos...wow..I am so visually stimulated, so yours was a perfect first blog to go to. I also loved the morning bike ride with my love. I hate being away from him. I feel for you so much. I hope you can explore and do things you normally wouldn't while he is away to cheery up your days.xo

My sweet and sparkly is the possibility of getting a house, each day we are closer to finding the one, I know it. Hope your week zips by and Andrew is back in a flash!

Great photos. Right at this moment I'm listening to the birds sing, a blue jay taking a drink from the birdbath and watching Alvin the chipmunk running across the patio.

In 4 days your sweet sparkly comes home.

Hugs... xoxo

Oh the Sunday blues....I have felt them many a time.
Try to remember how happy Fridays are and know there is another one right around the corner.

Listening to a bunch of kiddos singing about Jesus at Vacation Bible School was pretty darn sparkly this morning. And getting to chat with a friend first thing was quite nice too.

Thanks for passing on your positive thoughts to us this Monday morning. Hang in there. We'll count down the days until Friday with you. :-)

The twinkle light photo is so dreamy. It will be all sweets and sparkles when I get home from work at 3:15 -- hug and kiss and "snuggle time" with my little girl. :) Hope the spakles stay with you all week.

i love the cherries! i know how you feel about the sunday night blues, which is a little bit different than usual. scott and i dated for 1.5 years and only saw each other on the weekends. sunday night and monday morning were always a little bit sad with some tears. i'm sure we got married sooner rather than later because of it ;).

i hope you'll be so busy with work and craft the time will fly by. in terms of the big picture, 10 weeks = a grain of sand on the beach of your lives together. xo, c

I love the photos you chose to go with the title ~ very nice. Man, I think Sundays can be hard days anyway, but even more so if you have to say a goodbye for the week. I hope you have a wonderful sparkly week!

oh wow, that must be tough to have to say goodbye so much...you're in a good place though if you're able to post these inspirational images.

my sweet and sparkly monday started with my kids being very excited to start vacation bible school. since it is now evening, i would say my day is ending with sweet and sparkly too.....with those images....love them. we had a bowl of cherries in our fridge last week that looked like that. they tasted as good as they looked so they didn't last long!

that's so true. I felt that most when my husband and I were dating long-distance, but I still feel it now that we're together. I love the feeling of knowing you have a whole weekend ahead.
