Gray Day

These remind me of the beauty in a gray day. How the light becomes subdued and the edges soften. Maybe you can even smell the rain about to fall. If I was home right now, on this gray morning, I would make a pot of Black Current tea and nibble on two or three or four Hob Nobs! Wanna join me?

Images found here, here and here

i'm going to have to heart that image from flickr for sure! :)

i love gray mornings, when i'm in the right kind of mood. they slow you down right when i often need to be slowed. :)

I know what you mean. Tea always tastes better to me on a gray day and when I was in Ireland the gray days didnt bother me because I was able to get the best moody pictures.

Love that first photo the most. So lovely!

It is so gray here! Strange weather for May in the Bay.

It's been raining in the Bay Area for days now. Last night I laid in bed listening to it pour down on the roof. There's something so comforting about the sound of rain. These images capture that mood perfectly.
