As a child, we would play outside in the April rain, in the puddles and pretend greatness. I always loved my boots and then returning inside for something good to eat, fresh bread with home-made jam. I felt sort of like the Morton Salt Girl with my slicker and rain hat and boots. My umbrella with clear, shaped like a dome and I thought I was all that.
That fluffy white frosting has me all a twitter! I love the way the earth smells after a gentle rain. That quote is great! Here it may be mud-not slush.
Great photos and such a true quote! I haven't been feeling that way lately, the slush I've had in my shoes was due to melting snow... Soon though! It's a lot warmer today.
