Little pleasures

Little wonders. Little delights. Little pleasures. This weekend was full of them. Rain showers with booming thunder. Plum colored paper for books. Watching Anne of Green Gables for the first time in almost a decade. Red Sox sweeping the Yankees. And long, long walks up hills and through spring trees bursting their buds.

What was your weekend filled with?

we had a lot of rain and thunder, but it was actually nice. Helped my friends out at their store on Saturday. I don't even call it work because I always enjoy myself when I'm there. I love the photos!!

Anne of Green Gables . . . I haven't seen that in forever! It was a lovely rainy weekend; I love thunderstorms (as long as I'm not out in them;)I was making a corset all weekend, but the windows were wide open to take full advantage of the beautiful breeze . . .

Your weekend sounds so fun!! The Red Sox/Yankees bit was not well received in our household (by my husband...I could care less!), but the weather was awesome and we had a nice little party. I love your photos;)

i have not seen Anne of Green Gables in quite a while either. my family used to watch it ALL the time. there is nothing like it! and how great if you have a weekend where you have the time to sit down and enjoy something like that.

We went to a family fun run fundraiser, only we slept through the running part and showed for the festivities... Had a family bbq for my nephew's birthday... Got together with some girlfriends... and then ended the weekend with a dinner with hubby's family. It was a good one!

My weekend was filled with sweet strawberries from the farmers market - just like this photo! And lots of "urban hiking" in San Francisco...aka walking up some pretty daunting hills. :)

Sounds like a wonderful weekend!!!
In our house, any team that sweeps the Yankees is cause for celebration!
The highlight of my weekend was seeing my youngest varmint play his first T-ball game. It was so "cute overboard", i could weep :-)
