Every great adventure starts with the first step! Yesterday I gave my boss my two weeks notice. I'm leaving the world of marketing and pursuing my dream of becoming a nurse. All things have been considered, weighed and balanced, and Andrew and I feel that it's time. It's a little unnerving and telling your boss, whom you really like, that you're leaving him in a lurch, is one of the hardest things to do. But, even with those difficulties, I can't help but smile. I can't help but think that I've taken the first step towards something I really want: the opportunity to learn how I can nurture, help and heal. The desire is powerful. Powerful enough to take on Microbiology!

Thank you so much for all your prayers and thoughts. I can't tell you how incredible it was to check in here throughout my day yesterday and know that you were there! Thank you, thank you!

Now, I'm off to Duluth to see my niece! No better way to end the week!

Sending you all heaps of love and great thanks~

How very exciting! Good on you for having the confidence to make the move. That's huge. I know that icky feeling in the pit of your stomach wasn't easy to live with leading up to the meeting with your (old) boss, but it was worth it, I'm sure. Way to go! Have a wonderful weekend!

Wow. That's what I call FEARLESS. It's not the absense of doubts on the uncertainties. It's the courage to do something you really want despite the odds.

In a way, I think we are on the same boat, jewels. Am not yet prepared to be that fearless though. We'll see. =) Goodluck!
