Right now we're experiencing minus 20-30 degree temperatures. The kind of weather that gives you frost bite and brain freeze. The kind of weather that makes hard-core winter people shudder. On the other hand, my parents are on vacation and enjoying the bliss and wonder of Hawaii. These images from Mentis Studio make me think of the warmth and sunshine they're experiencing!

I love Florida for many reasons, but will always consider myself a midwesterner. This winter has been a not so subtle reminder of how brutle it can be. Takes me back to my college days when I had to walk across campus and stop in each building along the way to avoid frost bite. not nice. I think you should stay inside until further notice.

What is going on with the weather?! Apparently it is absolutely freezing almost everywhere, and we're in the midst of a January heat wave - not spring time warm, but summer style HOT. Ugh.
I was thinking of you this morning... If it's freezing here, I know it's colder than freezing there!!!

oh my, that is cold. i have been shivering in this low 30 degree weather, such a wimp. oh, and that bathroom image is dreamy.

Well here on Maui we are not experiencing that kind of weather obviously but we do have some crazy wind right now. It is supposed to be up to 80 mph gusts and they are even closing the schools. Our friend who lives on a boat went to Lanai where I guess doesn't have as much wind. Stay warm and drink lots of tea. :) Oh and these photos are quite lovely!
