Consistency is the last refuge of the unimaginative. – Oscar Wilde
This quote made me laugh, it seemed to suit my frame of mind this week, hugely unimaginative, but productive. That's a good thing, right? I'm already looking forward to Sunday when I have nothing on my plate, no event to attend, no more books to make. Whee! I'll be posting a Self Portrait tomorrow *fingers crossed* Stay tuned!
What a great quote! It doesn't really ring true with me right now but I will keep it in mind for when I do lapse back into my dreary monotonous clock work. Which probably will be very soon.
Have been feeling a little the same this week -- a little drained of imagination and inspiration . . . things are simply too busy these days -- really looking forward to the holidays! :)
weeee! i love that quote...love it love it love it...looking forward to the self-portrait tomorrow! going to send you mine as soon as i put out all the fires in my inconsistent life...xo
I know exactly what you mean, I go through phases when ideas and inspiration are flowing, and other times I am dry and am best to just cut and stick, cut and stick!
how did I miss your post yesterday? augh, i have been so crazed! i can't decide which bedroom i like best, the blue or the neutral?? but i do know for sure I love that mirror dresser. I think i need one for my new home when i move.

Oh, that library makes me oh so jealous. I wish I was unimaginative and productive, instead of being both unimaginative and unproductive right now!
i can't wait to see your self portrait! that last bedroom pic is so pretty. it looks similar to what i want for my room.
Haha -- I love that quote! I think we all have our moments where that applies :)
Productive is good! :) So is consistency. :)
Can't wait to see the self portrait! What fun!!
and, by the way, have you ever lived/ been close to ann arbor? It's a possibility for the boy's grad school... and I know nothing about it!! :P
sunday is already whizzing around really quickly, not long till your day of rest!
: )
Great quote. I will have to write that one down.
Very imaginative quote, Julia! I can't wait to enjoy your self portrait!
Stop by my blog, I'm holding a real leaf jewelry give away!

Oh my gosh, that living room / library wall is amazing. I am so jealous, I want to live in that room.

fair quote... thing is: my imagination seems to be consistently hyperactive! hahahaha

I am looking forward to tomorrows self portrait. I love that you do that! Have a GREAT day.
Wow, at least you're still productive. Sometimes, when I'm imaginative, I'm also unproductive. Hehe.
