Snow

I woke up this morning to a beautiful, white landscape, all glorious and sparkly. I was thrilled it was a heavy, wet kind of snow, the sort that slumps off your car like a soggy blanket. We put up our Christmas tree on Saturday and hung garlands over the windows. The ornaments have been upwrapped and hung on the tree's bendable limbs *grins* That is one of the perks of a fake tree, you can move the limbs however you wish and they don't complain or protest! What did you guys do this weekend? Anyone else get snowed on?

Tomorrow I will have another Self Portrait to show you! Also, I plan on posting my portrait this week. We finally got some sunshine!

Yay! I'm so happy someone else is decorating early, too :) We haven't put the tree up yet, but we have already watched at least 2 Christmas movies :)

Love this photo!! I really should have put my tree up this weekend. It'll be hard to find time to get everything all decorated. The holidays are coming in fast!

How exciting you got snow :) I'm a bit jealous...

AWWWW! SNOW! That is viewed as a luxury here in California. I have always dreamed of a white Christmas. But instead we just get a wet one :P

I early decorated for once too! Although no snow here in Laguna Beach, just overcast :( I'm planning to plant lots of white cyclamen around the borders to make it a white christmas though!

I wish it'd snow here! I can't wait to see pictures of your house all decorated. We decorated too, the yard looks cute, and the house is all cluttered with Christmas :)

PS I have something for you on my blog!!! :)

yeah for snow on the weekends! snow during the week for scott can turn an already 1-2 hour commute to travel 20 miles a nightmare. but, i do love how snow makes everything so bright and quiet.

putting up your tree now sounds so great! i'm looking forward to the self-portrait tomorrow and yours, too! it truly is thanksgiving ;)!

Great photo! I am looking forward to make a couple of ornaments this year. we decorate the tree with heirloom family pieces plus one or two I make as my mom would always make us do that and keeping up with it makes me feel closer.
If you get tired of the snow, send us some this way!!

Oh what a lovely photo Julia! No, we don't have snow here for Christmas. I usually wait until Dec. 8 for decorating my tree. But maybe this year I'll start earlier! Have a wonderful new week darling! xoxo

What a nice post, Julia! We got a bit of a wet snow, today, too, but only a very little bit. I hope it holds off until I'm home across the state... I'm going to try to get a tree this weekend. Can't wait!

I received more boxes in the mail from my mum with my grandmothers things! felt like early Christmas!! I unpacked them this weekend and just hung out with my dog!

Oh lucky duck! I am wanting it to snow here so badly. It sounds wonderfully festive around your place. I am nowhere near any decorating but have been thinking about it lots. Looking forward to your self portrait!

You have snow already?! I am so jealous! Wishing you a very happy Thanksgiving. :)

I can't believe people are getting Christmas trees already! I'm so behind! I've GOT to organize my life. Maybe it's because I'm in Florida. It's hard to get in the Christmas spirit when people are still wearing flip flops.
