Tea

Tis the season for delicious, steaming cups of tea. Granted, I hardly think there's a season I don't have my morning cuppa, but, that's besides the point. Tea during the chilly mornings and afternoons of autumn seems as comforting as pumpkin pie at Thanksgiving, or sugar cookies at Christmas. Although I enjoy my herbal and green teas, black tea is my favorite. Twinings Lady Grey, Celestial Seasons India Chai and Tazo's English Breakfast, all seasoned with a teaspoon of dark honey and milk! Anyone have any favorites? Or if you're not a tea drinker, do you have any hot drink proclivities in the fall?

Another quick reminder: don't forget to enter the Red Otter GIVE-AWAY!

Ah Jewels, you and I are so kindred.

These images are beautiful. I have been having my strong cup of coffee every morning, but around 2:30 I have tea time, and sit with a cup of Earl Grey and a sweet. It makes me feel so happy.

I guess I deprive myself of some of life's little pleasures here. I pretty much eschew caffeine in general, so am not a coffee achiever or a tea connoisseur, although do love a big glass of Twinings Earl Grey decaf iced tea in the summer.

I am looking forward to the Pumpkin Spice Martinis that flow freely at my annual holiday happy hour in December, but I guess that doesn't count as they're not served hot!

tea time, a sweet civility that i completely neglect. love the idea and love the slowing down. if i did take tea i would drink it exactly as you described with honey and milk. i seem to drink a strong latte every morning and then i'm on the go...sigh. hot cocoa around the holidays is a must!

and the photos below are deliciously cozy.

You must read, "Three cups of Tea" - nothing better than sharing a cup of tea and saving the world.
My favorite tea we recently brought back from Brussels (Bruxelles) is Univers du The-"paradis sauvage" and it does soothe the inner savage.

Black tea for me too! I drink so much tea during the day (cold office) that I have to get by on plain old Lipton (no milk, no sugar) or I'd be bankrupt.
My fave? Big Red Sun by Harney and Sons. It's as delicious as the tin it comes in. If I'm drinking that, I'll indulge in a bit of cream as well.

Lovely photos! I've always wanted to treat myself to one of those bloom teapots...

I'm a big fan of tea, one of my favorites is the Tazo Passion tea. Also, anything from David Rio.

Wish we could get together sometime for a cup :)

I'm never one to pass up a cuppa. A chamomile tea before bed is the perfect way to end the day.

PS: Thanks for stopping by my blog and saying hi :)

I am so glad I came across your blog. It is really lovely. I also love tea. I start every day with a giant cup of coffee, but I drink tea for the rest of the day. My favorites are Lapsang Souchong, Eral Grey or English Breakfast with a splash of milk, and brown rice green tea. This time of year I also like spiced cider!
