Hello, hello! I'm back from my mini-hiatus, and golly did I miss you guys! I'm looking forward to a proper catch-up on all of your blogs.

This year Andrew decided to go all-out and buy a full-fledged Halloween costume for this weekends festivities. After a bit of research he landed on a fantastic monks robe--perfect for a wizened saint. I, on the other-hand, didn't thrill at the idea of buying a whole outfit for one day, so I decided to simply buy a witches hat and dress all in black. Last week, suffering from a feisty mood, I mentioned to Andrew that he probably won't have to "powder" his hair for the old monk's look. He just looked at me and said "you won't need the hat!"

I wish you all a lovely weekend, however you celebrate the holiday. I hope it's fun and magical!

welcome back, i missed you! love your picks, as always. there's nothing witchy about you, so it's the perfect costume. i was a monk in high school, which is weird for a girl. i just saw the cutest little boy on the subway dressed as batman. he was so full of energy, but it was only 10 am! happy halloween!

How fun. Can't wait to see the photos. What a gorgeous day here in Madison too.

Nate and I were inspired by all the new little ones coming to our family, so we are going as storybook characters. Max from the Wild Things and Madeline. Very green too, almost 80% was recycled. I am sure I will do a post on it in the bext day or two.
....Happy Halloweeen

I always love your picks. This week's are wonderful and so were last week's... Feel like I've been away forever, so much catching up to do. I am envious that you got to hook up with a blogger friend in person. Sounds like the two of you had much fun.

you're baaaaaaack! (hi!)

great faves, as per usual.

you did one better than me this halloween.. i didnt even dress up! my sister was going to go out as the paper bag princess (being 24, it was going to be a challenge for her to find a paper bag big enough for her) .. so she used one of those huge yard waste bags, cut and turned it inside out.. and make herself a little foil crown. too cute!
