Coffee table relocation

Over the past few days Andrew and I have been camping out in our living room. Where the air conditioner is. It hasn't really been that bad as far as temperature goes, but golly gee, the humidity is intense enough to have you sticking. to. everything. And that's just not cool. Especially if you haven't shaved for a few days and it's your legs that are sticking together--prickles abound! Anyways, we pulled our mattress off our bed and plopped it on our living room floor. Our coffee table has been relocated to the kitchen, the chairs are shoved up against the wall, and we rest our feet on the bed when we're sitting on the couch. It's seriously thrown off the feng shui! But, hey, we get solid sleep and don't wake up a million times, adjusting the sheet and moaning about the heat and humidity :)

In other news, I've been delayed in writing about something rather important (my sincerest apologies, Jude): Do not leave unattended! Please hop over to Jude's newly revised and ravishing blog to find out about this fabulous opportunity. I have just a few more things to write and draw before I send mine out :) HURRAY!

Sounds like a fun sleepover! I work in the living room/dining area all the time. I get too sleepy when I work in the bedroom!

You are so smart! I honestly would not have thought of moving my bed, but then I don't have an Andrew to help (lucky girl). ☺

Thanks for posting about the notebook project. The response has been really good and hopefully this will welcome some new participants. THANKS for being a part of things! Can't wait to see your contribution. XO

Ha! This made me laugh. I have had many seepless nights like that until we broke down and got AC - hello! Loving it sooo much! I also wouldn't have been that creative - smart you!

Sometimes camp outs can be so fun...an adventure, even if it is in the livingroom!

How much fun to camp out in your own living room! We've done the same thing in the winter before when the furnace broke down - the whole family including the dogs huddled around the wood stove. Quite charming! Love the pix from the Door county trip. Cheers.

ooh...sorry to hear about your AC...That can be quite unbearable.

Sounds like you'll have a good memory (or funny story to tell when your old and grey) ....Maybe? ;)

The journal books sound like such fun! Will you post your scanned version for us to see??
