Cracker box

These images do amazing things to my frazzled nerves this morning. Ever have a day that likes to point out again and again and again that you should have stayed in bed? That was yesterday. I can sum it up with this: I found my cell phone in a cracker box in the cupboard. Well, the anxieties of yesterday seem to have greeted me this morning. But! I've decided to enjoy my walk in to school this morning, will relish my latte and do my best to keep plugging away. No matter the gremlins that lurk around the corner!

Delightful affair

This past weekend I threw Andrew an mini surprise party for his upcoming birthday. Major mile-markers should be celebrated, I believe. And although these are not pictures from the party--wish they were--it was a colorful and delightful affair. Filled with friends and family, baked brie and bocce ball.

Happy Friday! We can feel the coolness of the morning, even under our blankets. Perfect tea weather if you ask me. I have a cupcake date with a good friend of mine this afternoon--and I'm bringing my camera--and then we're off to Minnesota for the weekend!

The craft show

As promised, pictures from my show this weekend. I had a six foot table to trick out--which was just enough space (nothing spilled over the edges). I crowded the table with journals, notebooks, little jotters, posie magnets and new items like butterfly plaques, tags and beautiful garlands. I've been hoarding all of these little things because I've found that when it comes to art fairs, people are often more attracted to the little things they can buy. It was a lot of fun, and Andrew was even able to enjoy the botanical garden aspect too! I'm eager to add some new items to my shop this week--that is one of the best things about Etsy, what doesn't sell at the craft fair I'll gladly add to my shop.

If it wasn't for the fact that I have 9 massive study questions due in my Anatomy and Physiology class this morning and a paper due in my Developmental Psych class, I would be staying home, drinking tea and resting! It was a wonderful weekend, but I'm pooped. Plumb tuckered out. My arts and craft show went splendidly yesterday. I had a table situated in the lobby of the Botanical garden--prime spot. I'll show pictures tomorrow, I promise!

I'm feeling much, much better--thank goodness. Thank you for all the well-wishes! I think a sinus headache turned into a migraine--ugh. Not much fun.

We have a list, a mile long, of things to do this long holiday weekend--most are very yummy (like shopping for new school clothes and book supplies). I hope you all have a wonderful holiday! See you next week!
